Canadian Thoracic Society Publishes Position Paper on Spirometry
The Canadian Thoracic Society Pulmonary Function Standards Clinical Assembly is proud to announce the release of the first Canadian position statement on the use of spirometry in primary care.
The position statement, entitled "Spirometry in Primary Care", was developed to provide guidance on key factors affecting the quality of spirometry testing in the primary care setting. The paper may also serve to guide the accreditation process for spirometry in each province.
